This repository is a native UI plugin built exclusively for DeepSeek Harness (DSH), following DSH's plugin specification and including a dedicated DSH bundle manifest. It adds a new "galgame mode" tab to the main chat interface of DSH's web GUI, placed alongside the default "Chat" and "History" tabs. In this mode, DeepSeek's Whale Girl character interacts with users just like a GalGame heroine, offering character sprites, thinking bubbles, a typewriter-style dialog box, chunked reading and other immersive features. It only modifies the visual layer, does not interfere with the agent's conversation loop, and can be switched back to normal chat at any time.

After installation and activation, users can enter galgame mode from the top tab bar of the main chat interface. The plugin automatically adapts to the current DSH theme color scheme, including default light, default dark, and third-party custom skin mods. By default, the mode automatically advances text chunk by chunk at an interval of about 0.95 seconds per chunk, but users can take over control at any time by clicking or scrolling to flip pages. It supports many custom settings like automatic position shifting for approval popups, full line history playback, and adjustable typewriter speed, making it ideal for users who prefer anime-style immersive conversation experiences.

The plugin's code is released under the MIT license, while the character sprite assets are derivative works released under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license, which prohibits any commercial use. Currently, automatic emotion-based sprite switching is not yet implemented, and playback state is only stored locally in the component, so it will be rebuilt from the session snapshot after switching sessions and does not persist performance state. To install the plugin, you first need to build dependencies with pnpm, then install via either local link or the official npm registry, and you must restart DSH Web and refresh your browser before the plugin becomes available.
