dsh-web-attention-badge is a native plugin built exclusively for the DeepSeek Harness (DSH) WebUI. It transforms your browser tab bar, a place your eyes already check every few seconds, into a live status indicator for active DSH agent sessions. You can see at a glance whether a session is waiting for your input or finished while you were away, without having to open or switch back to the DSH tab. To install, you just run a single command via the DSH CLI: dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-web-attention-badge, then restart the dsh web process and you are ready to go.

When a session hits a point that requires your attention, such as an ask_user prompt, an approval step, or a plan that needs your review, the plugin updates three indicators to an amber state. It adds a pending count to the DSH tab title, tints the DSH whale favicon amber, and adds a small amber pill to the top-left corner of the DSH WebUI frame. If multiple sessions are waiting, the count updates to reflect how many need your input. Once you finish a session and close the tab without checking it, the indicator turns green to let you know it’s complete.

Why not just install a monitor app?
