dsh-prompt-suggestions is a native DSH plugin built specifically for DeepSeek Harness, shipping as a cordis bundle that integrates with DSH's profile system rather than as a standalone application. Installation is performed inside a DSH profile directory such as ~/.dsh/profiles/web: the user adds "dsh-prompt-suggestions": "^0.1.3" to the profile's package.json dependencies, appends "dsh-prompt-suggestions" to the existing dsh.profile.bundles array, runs pnpm install in that directory, and restarts DSH. The desktop build requires a full quit from the tray and a relaunch. The plugin requires DSH 0.1.7-rc.2 or later.

When the assistant finishes a reply, a grey next-prompt suggestion appears in the otherwise empty DSH input box; pressing Tab fills it in, Escape dismisses it, and the suggestion vanishes as soon as the user types any character, reappearing only after the box is cleared again. Suggestions are shown only on the assistant's turn and never during a fresh conversation or while the assistant is still working. Each assistant turn triggers exactly one model request and the result is cached per conversation, so repeatedly clearing the field does not consume additional tokens. The endpoint is exposed through DSH's built-in web service and reuses the official login validation, rejecting unauthenticated requests.

By default the plugin picks a DeepSeek flash model with thinking disabled and caps each suggestion at 80 tokens. To override, both provider and model must be set together in cordis.patch.yml under id: dsh-prompt-suggestions, and two additional knobs are exposed: maxContextChars (default 6000, the conversation slice sent to the model) and timeoutMs (default 10000). All inference is routed through whatever model service DSH is already configured to use, and the plugin itself never touches API keys. Input-method composition does not steal Tab, and the suggestion stays out of the way while / commands or @ mention menus are open. License is MIT.

安装

在 profile 目录（例如 ~/.dsh/profiles/web）的 package.json 里加上依赖和 bundle：

用哪个模型

默认自动找一个 DeepSeek 的 flash 模型，关闭思考，每条建议最多 80 个 token。要换模型，在 profile 的 cordis.patch.yml 里加：

说明

每条助手回复只请求一次模型，结果按会话缓存，反复清空输入框不会重复计费。
只在助手说完话、轮到你的时候给建议；新对话、助手还在工作时不显示。
带给模型的是当前会话最近几轮的文字内容，走的是你在 DSH 里配置好的同一个模型服务，密钥由 DSH 管理，插件不接触。
建议接口挂在 DSH 自己的网页服务上，复用官方的登录校验，未登录的请求会被拒绝。
输入法组字时不会抢 Tab；/ 命令和 @ 引用菜单打开时 Tab 仍归菜单。
