This is a native plugin built exclusively for the DeepSeek Harness Web GUI that adds a "results only" toggle to conversations. When enabled, it automatically folds away thinking steps, tool calls, and context injection rows, leaving only user messages and the agent's final replies visible. You can expand any folded row at any time to check underlying details, and the enabled state is saved persistently to browser localStorage by default. To install the plugin, run the command dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-result-only-view in your terminal, then restart the dsh web process to activate it.

While the agent is running, the plugin displays a compact summary chip for each active step, which shows the tool name, a hint of arguments, or the latest line of thinking. If you click the chip, the corresponding step row will expand so you can view full details mid-run. After a conversation turn completes, a trace line showing the number of processed steps and total time elapsed is added to the end of the turn. Clicking this line toggles expansion of all process rows for that turn, and hover actions do nothing—expansion only works on click. There are two fold modes to choose from, Auto to fold automatically after turns complete and Manual to leave rows visible until you fold them.

The plugin runs entirely client-side, so it does not send network requests, access your filesystem, or interact with any stored credentials. It only reads and writes to localStorage and reads the conversation DOM as read-only, so it never modifies the original DeepSeek Harness DOM structure. If a future DSH update breaks the hiding functionality, the plugin degrades gracefully by stopping the hiding instead of crashing. The plugin works with most modern browsers, and it includes CSS fallbacks for browsers that do not support the :has() selector. It is licensed under the open source MIT license, and it supports both English and Simplified Chinese interface localization.

A Results only toggle for the DeepSeek Harness Web GUI. Turn it on and thinking, tool-call and context-injection rows fold away — only your messages and the final replies remain. Open any of them again whenever you want the details.

Default on; the state persists in localStorage.
While the agent runs — one compact chip per running step (tool name + args hint, or the latest thinking line). Click a chip to reveal and expand that step's native row mid-run. With no active step, a single live status line shows the latest one.
After a turn settles — a Processed N steps · Xs ▸ trace appears at the turn tail: click to expand that turn's process rows; click again to fold them back. Moving the mouse across the line does nothing — expansion is strictly click-driven.
Fold modes — Auto folds settled turns for you; Manual keeps them visible until you fold them from the trace line.
Never hidden — whitelisted interactive cards (ask_user_question, cordis_run) and composer approval prompts stay visible.
Settings → General → Results only: show/hide the trace, restore animations under reduced motion, pick the fold mode. zh-CN/en localized.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-result-only-view

Then restart dsh web. Uninstall with dsh plugin --profile web remove dsh-result-only-view + restart.

Notes

Client-side only: no network requests, no filesystem access, no credentials. Reads/writes localStorage and reads the conversation DOM read-only — the product DOM is never modified.
Hiding relies on stable product DOM attributes plus a MutationObserver for chips. If a DSH update changes the attributes, the plugin degrades gracefully (rows stop hiding) — please report DSH + plugin versions in an issue.
Row-level CSS fallbacks cover browsers without :has().
