dsh-passwords is a native authentication gateway plugin built exclusively for DeepSeek Harness (DSH), designed to turn a single-instance DSH deployment into a publicly accessible multi-tenant platform. It comes with a full set of security and access management features including user login authentication, automatic Let’s Encrypt HTTPS certificate issuance and renewal, multi-tenant permission control, session authorization, and encrypted audit logging. It supports both English and Chinese interfaces that adapt to your DSH language settings, and offers multiple installation methods: one-click script for Linux/macOS, batch file for Windows, global npm install, and Docker container deployment.

The most common use case for this plugin is team shared DSH deployments. After setting up the primary admin account during initial configuration, you can create an unlimited number of sub-user accounts, and configure granular access permissions and usage quotas for each workspace and individual user session. Permissions include hourly token caps, daily usage time limits, file upload and download controls, and the ability to ban accounts that violate usage policies, while the primary admin can view all workspace and session activity for operational management.

This open-source project is released under the GPL-3.0 license. Bare-metal installation requires Node.js version 22.19 or newer (or 24+), plus a working DSH instance and git, while Docker installation only needs a working Docker engine and a DeepSeek API key.
