SumSec-Skills is a curated collection of AI agent skills maintained by SummerSec, organized into categorized plugins covering common use cases from Chinese language writing to plugin development for AI agents. It supports installation across multiple popular AI agent clients, including Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, DeepSeek Harness, Pi, OpenClaw, OpenCode, and Hermes. Each platform has its own dedicated installation flow, from command line marketplace adds to manual symlinking, so users can pick the method that matches their current client.

Casual users can install only the individual skills they need, instead of loading the entire collection at once. For example, a user working on Chinese content can install the AI de-texturizing and explain-like-I’m-five skills, while a developer building new AI plugins can install the full seven-part plugin development toolkit. The collection also includes tools for auditing and optimizing existing skills, which helps developers maintain consistent behavior across multiple agent platforms.

This repository uses Git Submodules to pull in third-party skills, so first-time users must clone with the --recurse-submodules flag to get all content. After cloning, you need to run a Python sync script to copy the third-party skills into the correct plugin directories. All original content in the collection is released under the permissive Apache-2.0 open source license, with no associated costs for personal or commercial use. Third-party skills retain their original licenses, so users should check those before redistribution.
