dsh-damage-pulse is a native plugin built exclusively for DeepSeek Harness (DSH) that tracks DeepSeek API token usage, billing costs, and account balance. It follows DeepSeek’s official peak/off-peak pricing rules to calculate actual costs for each call, and displays usage and costs across three levels: single call, current session, and global account. It also includes a dynamic animated whale girl visual that makes abstract usage data much easier to understand at a glance. It keeps a persistent local ledger of all calls to maintain historical usage data even after DSH restarts. It supports both the default official pricing table that auto-updates with DeepSeek’s changes, and custom pricing tables for users who want to override defaults.

This plugin is designed for DSH users who frequently call DeepSeek models on a regular basis, as it helps them keep clear track of their spending across different time periods to avoid exceeding their self-set daily budget. It lets users view aggregated consumption statistics for today, the last 7 days, the last 30 days, and all time, and it can also show real-time account balance and send active alerts when peak pricing periods start or end. Users can also configure WeChat notifications to get alerts about balance changes, budget limits, and pricing period switches directly to their phone. The floating balance card can be dragged and repositioned with your mouse or keyboard, and its position is saved for future DSH sessions. Right-clicking the card lets users hide the whale girl or open the plugin’s detailed settings page.

This plugin is open source under the MIT license, so it is completely free to use and modify for all users. After installation, it automatically checks for security updates from GitHub Releases and will only install an update after verifying the version’s SHA-256 hash to keep the installation secure. It is compatible with the standalone dsh-wechat-notify plugin, and can reuse that plugin’s WeChat sending capabilities if it is already installed. If the standalone plugin is not installed, users can still enable WeChat notifications by configuring the path to a local ClawBot CLI entry file. All core tracking and monitoring features work even if WeChat notifications are not configured. On first run, users need to add their DeepSeek API key to enable full balance viewing and tracking features.
