FreeDSH, also known as marcosmmjr2023/dsh-h-v1, is a native DSH bundle built exclusively for DeepSeek Harness. It adds a community distribution layer on top of the base DeepSeek Harness core, extending it with free-model routing, a local provider gateway, an improved UI, Brazilian Portuguese localization, versioned configuration and rollback-safe updates. This is an unofficial community project that is not affiliated with or endorsed by DeepSeek. It supports both Windows and Linux operating systems, with pre-built one-click interactive installers for new users to get set up in under a minute, and existing users can add it as a plugin directly.

FreeDSH follows a free-first routing principle, which means it will try configured free or low-cost AI providers before falling back to any paid providers you have set up. If a primary provider fails or becomes unavailable, it automatically falls back to a pre-configured alternative. It also supports task-aware routing with three profiles (auto, eco, ultra) that select different model tiers based on your current workload. Core updates are done in parallel A/B instances so you never overwrite a working environment, and rollbacks to known good configurations are always easy. It is designed for DeepSeek Harness users who want to lower their daily coding costs without sacrificing reliability.

All original code in this repository is released under the permissive MIT license.
