This is a native plugin built exclusively for the DeepSeek Harness Web GUI. It adds balance or remaining quota capsules for multiple LLM providers right in front of DSH's model selector, and updates the balance automatically whenever usage changes. When you switch models, it immediately displays the current balance for the selected provider, and currently supports official API queries from more than 6 popular providers including DeepSeek, StepFun, OpenRouter, and xAI. For providers without a public balance endpoint, it supports opening their console page in a new tab for manual checking.

After installation, no extra complex configuration is required if you already have your provider API keys set up correctly in DSH. It automatically caches query results for successful responses for 60 seconds to reduce unnecessary API calls, so API keys never reach the browser, which keeps your credentials secure. You can add custom providers by editing a local configuration file, or you can submit a pull request to the repository to add support for new providers for all users. It is especially useful for DSH users who manage multiple LLM provider accounts at the same time.

The plugin is released under the open-source MIT license, so you can use it, modify it, and redistribute it freely per the license terms. There are three supported installation methods: via npm, via direct GitHub install, or via local link for local development testing. After any installation or configuration change, you need to restart the DSH web service and refresh your browser page for changes to take effect.
