dsh-mirror, also published as dsh-user-mirror, is a native AI memory plugin built exclusively for DeepSeek Harness (DSH). It enables the DSH model to actively record a user’s principles, boundaries, work habits, and personal preferences, then reuse these across multiple chat sessions. It stores only preference-based judgments, not general factual data that belongs in other storage systems, includes structured memory management and automatic forgetting, and adds a dedicated visual Memory tab to the DSH interface. You can install it via the DSH CLI command dsh plugin --profile web add @dsh-plugins/dsh-user-mirror.

This plugin is built for DSH users who want to avoid re-stating their preferences every time they start a new chat session. Whenever a user communicates a new reusable preference or principle during a conversation, the DSH model will actively call the plugin’s mirror_remember tool to store the new entry along with a reason for recording it. The plugin then checks for similar existing topics, removes lowest-strength entries when it hits the configured capacity limit, and automatically injects relevant memory into the system prompt for all future conversations.

The plugin can only be installed on DSH web profiles that provide the required storageDomain and webServer services, and it will fail to boot on headless profiles. Its only runtime dependency is ai-orb, a zero-dependency SVG status component that is loaded via a separate static route instead of being bundled into the client bundle. It is released under the permissive MIT license, stores all user data locally on device, never sends any data to external servers, and has a known limitation where reworded pure Chinese synonyms may be stored as two separate entries.
